Ordering, ingredients, delivery

What people actually ask before they call about a jar

These are the questions that come up most on the phone, grouped the way the calls actually go — ordering first, then what's in the products, then how a set gets to your door.

01 — Ordering

Ordering & inquiries

How a phone call or a form submission turns into an actual order, and what we won't do along the way.

How do I actually order something if there's no cart?

Call +1 (894) 555-9475, email office@velaxmora.com, or use the form on the contact page and tell us which product and size you want. We confirm the item, the price basis and delivery details with you directly before anything is packed. Nothing is charged automatically, and there's no account to create.

Why is the catalogue inquiry-only instead of a checkout?

Because a five-minute conversation catches the wrong purchase before it ships. Someone searching for a night cream for dry skin sometimes actually needs the lighter Daily Barrier Cream, or the reverse, and we would rather sort that out on the phone than process a return once the jar has already arrived.

It also lets us say plainly when a set is wrong for your skin instead of just selling you the bigger box, which a self-serve cart can't do.

Do you tell me the price before I commit to anything?

Yes. Every item's page states its price basis — per 50ml jar, per boxed trio, per pouch of minis — and we confirm the actual figure with you by phone or email before you agree to anything. Nothing on this site is a binding quote until you've heard the number and said yes.

Can I ask about a set before deciding between it and single items?

That's most of what the phone calls are. Tell us your skin type, what you're currently using, and roughly what you want to solve, and we'll say whether a home skincare set makes sense or whether a single tube or bottle covers it more cheaply.

02 — Ingredients

Ingredients & sensitive skin

What's actually printed on a label, and how we handle fragrance and reactive skin.

What exactly is listed on an ingredient label?

The full ingredient list, in the order it's mixed. The shea butter hand cream lists shea butter second on its own page, not further down where a busier label would hide it. We do the same for every jar, tube and bottle in the twelve-item catalogue.

Are any of the cleansers fragrance-free?

We don't add fragrance to any of the three cleansers. If a cleanser carries citrus oil for scent, that oil is named on the label as citrus oil, not folded into a generic "fragrance" line — a fragrance free cleanser claim only means something if the label backs it up ingredient by ingredient.

Which products suit sensitive skin?

The Micellar Water suits sensitive skin well because it lifts off makeup and sunscreen without rinsing or rubbing. The Cream Cleanser is the other common recommendation — no foam, gentle on skin that tightens after washing. As a facial oil for sensitive skin, the Facial Oil Drops carry rosehip and marula, both low on the list of oils that tend to cause a reaction, though we'd still ask about known allergies on the phone before recommending it.

For combination skin that needs a bit more cleaning power without stripping it, the Gel Cleanser is the one we usually point to — light foam, rinses off completely.

Is there an unscented option in the oils?

The Dry Body Oil is the closest to an unscented body oil in the range — jojoba and squalane, with no added scent beyond the carrier oils themselves. The Facial Oil Drops and the Bath Oil Pour both carry a light natural scent from rosehip, marula or bergamot, which is stated on each item's own page.

03 — Delivery & sets

Delivery, sets & travel

How something actually reaches you, and what the boxed sets are sized for.

How is anything delivered if there's no shipping page?

Delivery is arranged when we confirm your order — we agree the address, the carrier and the expected timing on the same call or email thread as the price. There's no separate shipping calculator because delivery terms depend on the item, the box size and the address, and we'd rather quote it accurately than post a generic range that's wrong half the time.

Do the travel and gift sets come in smaller sizes?

The Travel Set is already a small skincare gift set built for movement — a pouch of four minis, each under 50ml, sized to clear carry-on limits as a travel size skincare set. The Starter Home Set and Guest Bathroom Set are boxed at their standard sizes and aren't offered in a separate travel format, though the Starter Set is the smallest of the three boxed options if space is tight.

Does packaging include extra wrapping or an inner sleeve?

No. Everything ships in the box it's packed in — no inner sleeve, no shredded filler tissue. Filler is padding on the price and does nothing for the cream inside. If you want the Guest Bathroom Set arranged as a gift, say so when you order and we'll set the tray before it ships rather than adding wrapping after the fact.

What if a product doesn't suit my skin after I've tried it?

Contact us and we'll talk through it. Our full guarantee and returns terms — what's covered and what isn't — are on the guarantee page, and they're the same for every item in the catalogue, sets included.

Still deciding between two products?

Most of what's above came out of actual phone calls, and most calls end with us recommending something narrower than the caller started with. Send a product inquiry and we'll do the same for you before anything ships.
